A 64-year-old woman was racially abused on a High Wycombe bus.

The woman was on the 102 bus - a Carousel service running between High Wycombe and Uxbridge - at Eden bus station on the evening of Thursday, September 26, when a man approached her.

He started shouting at her, making reference to her accent and ethnicity.

The man was ordered to leave the bus but as he did, he continued to shout at her, banging on the windows.

The shocking incident happened at about 7.50pm.

The man is described as being slim, white, aged in his fifties, with grey facial hair, small eyes and a large nose.

He was wearing a dark woollen hat and dark coloured jacket and trousers.

Police are investigating it as a racially-aggravated public order incident and are urging anyone who saw what happened or who recognises the description of the man to come forward.
