Crash causing delays on A12 northbound
A CRASH on the A12 is causing widespread rush hour delays across Colchester.
The accident took place on the northbound carriageway near to junction 30 for Stratford St Mary.
It is understood that eight cars were involved in the smash.
Essex Police are on the scene.
The police held all traffic on the carriageway at 9am in order to try and clear the incident.
Drivers are advised to allow extra time for their journeys as there are tailbacks on all surrounding roads.
