OXFORD United boss Karl Robinson should have a far stronger squad at his disposal this afternoon against Tranmere Rovers compared to last weekend.

Ben Woodburn and Mark Sykes missed the defeat at Fleetwood Town on international duty but are now back, although the latter came back with an illness which will be assessed.

Matty Taylor adds to United’s striking options, while George Thorne could even be involved after returning to training.

A brief break earlier this week also allowed the likes of Daniel Agyei, Chris Cadden, Shandon Baptiste and Tariqe Fosu to shake off minor niggles.

Robinson said: “Daniel has trained wonderfully well this week. We’re starting to see better signs in him.”

Corey Blackett-Taylor is suspended for Rovers, who have six players in the treatment room including strikers Morgan Ferrier and Ishmael Miller.
