An Oldham student passed three GCSE's at the age of fourteen.
Khanees Azam is a year 9 student from Hathershaw College and gained grade A (7) in English Language; a grade B (B High 5) in English Literature and in Mathematics she got grade B (High 5).
Khanees said, "I am extremely proud of achieving a Grade A in English Language as I’m passionate about this subject and worked really hard.
"My tutor Neelam believed in me and hopefully this is the start to my dreams of going into medicine and becoming a general practitioner."
Her proud mum Amana said, "I’m so proud of Khanees’s achievements especially considering how much she has been through over the past few years with her health and dealing with the loss of a sibling.
"She is determined, eager to learn and always wants to achieve the best.
"She’s a typical teenager who loves to watch Netflix, helping out in charity events and loves family time. Neelam recognised her potential at 'A Star tuition' and put her on their gifted and talented programme"
Her tutor Neelam Aqil of A-star Tuition said, "Khanees is a real go-getter and I am so proud of her she's a real gem and has a great future ahead of her."
