AN Inverkeithing man targeted his former partner with threatening messages for almost a year.
Kevin Innes, 27, of Roods Square, appeared in the dock at Dunfermline Sheriff Court as a result of his actions.
He admitted that between January 24 last year and January 13 this year, at an address in Dalgety Bay, he engaged in a course of conduct which caused his former partner fear or alarm.
He shouted, acted aggressively, took possession of a knife, threatened self-harm and made threats of violence towards her.
He repeatedly made phone calls to her, repeatedly sent messages via social media, sent an e-mail and repeatedly made threats of violence and self-harm within the messages he sent.
Sheriff Derek Reekie called for reports and Innes will be sentenced on September 18.
