Celtic legend Tom Boyd will remain in the Hoops TV commentary team for this evening's Europa League clash with AIK - despite causing controversy with his comments last week.
The Celts ambassador criticised ref John Beaton for his decision not to award the home side a penalty against Dunfermline last weekend in their Betfred cup tie at Parkhead.
Celtic could face fine for Tom Boyd's explosive comments
Boyd accused Beaton of not knowing the rules and said he'd be "welcome down his pub", referencing a rumour which circulated on social media last season of the whistler frequenting a 'Rangers bar'.
Celtic came out in defence of their ex-captain and told how they'd "robustly" back him after SFA compliance officer Clare Whyte got involved.
And they've refused to allow the controversy to jeopardise their matchday plans - keeping Boyd alongside Gerry McCulloch on comms.
McCulloch tweeted: "Join me and Tom Boyd in the Celtic TV studios from 7.25pm".
