Wycombe Islamic Centre (WISE) had success in their annual community event, Eid in the Park, for the fourth consecutive year.
Saturday, August 11, marked a memorable day for Wycombe’s Muslim community where hundreds enjoyed the fine weather.
As adults socialised with family and friends, children were entertained by funfair rides and activities.
Holmers Farm Recreational Ground was the site of the festival celebrations, where organisers provided a free breakfast, refreshments, free funfair rides and a range of stalls.
Refi Shafi, from WISE, said organisers wanted to express their "heartfelt gratitude" to John Lewis and ASDA for opening up their car parks – facilitating the overall ease of the event.
He said: "The sight of hundreds of people attending and enjoying the celebration was electrifying.
"The fine weather, the smell of appetising food and the joyful sound of children laughing shaped a pleasurable and inviting atmosphere. Many of the attendees, both children and adults, expressed how it was the most enjoyable Eid in the Park so far."
