PLANS for a new £13 million community wellbeing development have been on show in Brighouse.
Commissioned by Calderdale Council, the new development at Railway Bridge View in Rastrick will provide 65 new homes for people who require ongoing care.
It will include 42 one-bed and 23 two-bed apartments, with ten designed in partnership with the Alzheimer’s Society for people with dementia.
It will also include a restaurant, café and hairdressers, and is set to open in Autumn 2020.
Councillor Jane Scullion, from Calderdale Counci said: “We are committed to increasing the choice of homes in Calderdale, and ensuring people can live independently in our communities for as long as possible.”
