A MAN from Oldham is among eight to be charged following dawn raids at properties across Greater Manchester yesterday (Thursday, June 13) on a crackdown on the supply of crack cocaine and heroin.
Stephen Barlow, aged 42, of Second Avenue, Oldham, has been charged with three counts of supplying crack cocaine and three counts of supplying heroin.
Also charged with similar offences following operation Operation Ballerina are Craig Dalton, aged 46, of Caversham Drive, Manchester, and Aaron Wren, aged 33, of Lancaster Road, Salford.
A further five men have been charged with possession with intent to supply heroin, crack cocaine and cannabis and money laundering.
They are: Aaron Fitzmaurice, aged 33, Anthony Fitzmaurice, aged 24, Claire Fitzmaurice, aged 26, and Sarah Fitzmaurice, aged 54, all of Kingsway, Manchester.
They have been remanded in custody and are due to appear at Manchester and Salford Magistrates’ today, (Friday, June 14).
A man and woman, who were arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply drugs and money laundering, have been released under investigation.
