NINETIES dance legends The Outhere Brothers are the latest act to confirm an appearance at this year's Rock the Park festival in Wrexham.

Now in its third year, this year's event takes place on Friday August 9 - Sunday August 11 at Borras Hall Lane and features the world's best tribute acts across two days of the festival.

The Friday night of the festival is being billed as a 'Dance Classics' event and will feature a number of chart topping DJs and acts from both the nineties and naughties, including Basshunter, Ultrabeat, Rozalla, DJ Sammy and K-Klass.

Headlining the evening will be The Outhere Brothers, who twice topped the UK charts in 1995 with Boom Boom Boom and Don't Stop (Wiggle Wiggle) as well as enjoying top ten hits with La La La Hey Hey and If You Wanna Party.

The duo, consisting of lyricist Keith "Malik" Mayberry and producer/remixer Lamar (Hula) Mahone, were only the third act in history at that point to secure back to back UK chart toppers with their first two releases.

The family friendly music festival, which attracts thousands of people, will feature three huge arenas with the UK’s best tributes to rock and pop artists from around the world including tributes to Foo Fighters, Metallica, Robbie Williams, Pink, The Beatles, Rolling Stones, Guns N Roses, Queen and many more.

The festival will also provide a platform for local up and coming artists to show off their talent in the all new Hideout stage.

Tickets for the three days start from £18 and the festival also has both camping and glamping options available.
