A MAN has been arrested in suspicion of possession of a firearm.
A West Yorkshire Police spokesman said police received a report at around 9.30pm yesterday that a firearm had been seen in a car in the Bradford West area.
The spokesman said: "Armed officers were deployed to the area to locate the vehicle, which was found in Cunliffe Terrace.
"Following enquiries a 26-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession of a firearm and is currently in custody while enquiries continue.
"A BB gun has also been recovered."
A police cordon was in place last night while officers were at the scene. A police van could be seen in the area this morning.
