A TEENAGER suffered facial injuries after being hit by a car on a major Bradford road.

It happened on Wednesday.

A West Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: "Officers were called at 6.03pm to Wakefield Road at the junction of Lorne Street to reports of a car a red Mini Cooper in collision with a 15-year-old male pedestrian.

"He was taken to Leeds General Infirmary with facial injuries.

"Police are looking to speak to anyone who witnessed the collision or saw the Mini Cooper prior to the collision to get in touch."
