A CORDON was in place around Bradford Crown Court this morning as police investigated reports of a suspicious package.
Firefighters were also at the scene and the area in front of the court, towards the Victoria Hotel, was taped off.
An alarm could be heard sounding from the building.
A West Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: "At 7.39 this morning police were called to reports of a suspicious package at Bradford Crown Court.
"The building was evacuated for a short time while officers carried out precautionary checks.
At 8.18 it was deemed a genuine delivery and everyone was allowed back in the building."
