The streets in Bradford where the most crimes have been recorded have been revealed.

Bradford Telegraph and Argus:

We've combined details of every offence reported to police in a calendar month to produce this tool that you can use to find out how your street ranks for crime.

During the month of March 2019 - the most recent for which data is available - Adelaide Street was the scene of 63 recorded crimes - that's more than double the next highest street.

Of these, 18 were violent or sexual offences; another 18 involved drugs; 9 were public order offences; 9 involved criminal damage; two were vehicle crimes and two were for possession of a weapon.

However, the street is right opposite Trafalgar House Police Station and it appears that, whenever a criminal admits to another crime while being interviewed at the police station, the location of that crime is recorded as Adelaide Street.

That probably puts Kirkgate, in the city centre, top of the list of shame, with 30 recorded crimes in the month.
