COUNCILLORS are due to decide on a number of licensing applications today.
One is for the sale of alcohol at Bingley Congregational Cricket Club on Beckfoot Lane.
The hours would be 6pm until 10pm Monday to Thursday, 12pm until 2am on Friday, 10am until 2am on Saturday and 10am until 11pm on Sunday.
A report says concerns have been raised about an increase in noise and disturbance, the potential for anti-social behaviour and litter pollution.
The application says drugs policies/notices will be in place, along with age restrictions.
There will also be litter clearance and external areas will not be used after a certain time.
Among other measures, members will be asked to leave quietly and there will be a limit on the hours during which children can be present on the premises, with a requirement for them to be accompanied by an adult. The application says staff will be trained on licensing issues and a CCTV system will be installed.
There is also an application from Silsden Town Hall for a variation of premises licence.
The two applications will be discussed by councillors at City Hall today from 10am.
