PRIMARK bosses have revealed the truth about the 'click and collect' rumours.

Earlier this week Primark shoppers were convinced the budget store would soon be launching a service to enable fashion fans to shop online at home.

The Mail reached out to Primark in the hope of clearing up the rumours that it was set to launch a click and collect service.

A Primark spokesperson said: “Online is important for Primark.

"We have a strong digital and a rapidly growing social media presence, with currently 14 million followers.

"Our customers enjoy looking online at the latest offers, and coming into stores to buy. The combination of instore design, shopping experience and amazing prices is what makes Primark so attractive.

“From time to time we will look at click and collect as one possible option to extend our customer service. However, there are no plans in the near future to trial click and collect.”
