Harwood Solicitors who are based on Blackburn Enterprise Centre will take up space on the top floor with the remainder being let out to businesses.

Raja Afzal of Harwood Solicitors said, “It has been fantastic using local companies and workers to renovate the building - for instant local company Rowlec based in Blackburn fitted all the lighting and Salectrics did the electrical work. Thanks also to Palmer Liggins and ProFix.

“Many will remember that the building was completely dilapidated and we are delighted with the way things have gone.

“The council have been supportive and the new two-way road system will assist businesses a great deal.

“Hopefully other developments in the area will help to rejuvenate this side of town.”

The centre will house a number of conference rooms and meeting rooms.

Mr Afzal added, “There has been quite a bit of interest from companies already.

We have installed state-of-the-art high speed wif-fi and some of the offices will also come fully furnished. There is large car park behind the centre which can hold 90 vehicles too.”

Work to transform the building began last year and is to be completed by the end of April.
