Millwall are on a high as they prepare to face Albion.
The Lions eased Championship relegation concerns with a 2-0 win at Birmingham.
Seagulls boss Chris Hughton and assistant Paul Trollope were there to see it.
But the man who scored both goals cannot play against them in the FA Cup on Sunday.
And his team-mate who offered both assists might also be struggling.
Ben Thompson was twice on target for a Millwall side which showed four changes to the line-up which kicked off the defeat at Bolton at the weekend.
A loan spell at Portsmouth earlier this season means Thompson is now cup-tied and Lee Gregory, who helped create both goals, limped off in the second half.
Thompson rounded off a slick counter attack after Birmingham had looked the better side very early on.
Neil Harris’ men grew into the game and Thompson added a second before the break.
The four changes made by the Lions included a recall in goal for David Martin.
The visitors defended impressively in the second half and were well worth their win.
