GLENN MURRAY praised Albion’s matchwinner – and an unsung star.
First goalscorer Murray put his hands to his mouth in amazement as Anthony Knockaert curled home via the post at Selhurst Park.
He was also full of admiration for the way the Frenchman and right-back Martin Montoya dealt with Wilfried Zaha after being booked in the first half.
Murray said: “Credit to Anthony, it was a goal worthy of winning any game. It caught me by surprise.
“And Monty as well. The last person you want to be up against when you’re on a yellow card is Wilfried Zaha.
“He managed not to dive in and to keep Wilfried at bay and remain on the field.”
