POLICE have been in Wibsey overnight after a raid on a cannabis farm yesterday afternoon.
Officers attended the address in High Street in the village, where a factory for the production of the Class B drug was uncovered.
The premises searched by police are not throught to have been open as a business for several months.
The illegal grow was found at 4pm yesterday, and officers were at the address overnight and into this morning while enquiries continue.
A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police said: "Police are at the scene of a cannabis farm that has been found in a premise on High Street, Wibsey.
"The drug production was found at around 4pm yesterday (Monday, February 18). Enquiries are ongoing."
Police vans could be seen outside the property this morning, and smashed glass in the front door of the property was also visible.
