It featured, award winning photographers, cake makers, toastmasters, caterers, stage decorators, venue dressers, car hire companies and everything else you would need to make a wedding amazing.
Co-organiser Juel Khan, MD of Simplicity Events said, “We were all very excited running up to the showcase, but as we saw the pre-registration ticket numbers grow, we knew it was going to a busy showcase. Over 1900 pre-registered tickets were booked, so we had to ensure that the would-be brides and grooms would have an experience that would rival their big day”
The visitors to the showcase had the chance to meet the wedding businesses and suppliers under one roof and on one floor which makes the planning that easier.
Monir Ali, Photographer and co-organiser added, “Having these great suppliers in one place at the same time makes the lives of the couples so much easier, and being on one level means that guests had a more fluid experience.”
A fleet of wedding cars were positioned outside the Hotel as was a life size fairy-tale carriage set in an enchanted woodland scene.
“The fashion show was elegant and just wowed the guests” said Iram Ali Khan, MD of Supreme Dream Events and co-event organiser, “Our line up included the some of the best designers from across the UK including Aisha Naheed, Virsa Menswear, Alankar, Sai Fashions, Bureyda and Bombay Stores.
"Our fashion show was curated by the talented Zaf Shabir, who works hard to ensure the outfits look the best, and our make up and Hair partner for the catwalk, Kara Makeup Academy, ensured the brides make-up and hair was flawless.”
The Worshipful the Mayor of Oldham Metropolitan Borough, Councillor Javid Iqbal was in attendance.
