A FULL planning application has now been submitted for a new Pizza Express restaurant in Bradford city centre.
The chain will take on a unit under The Light cinema, on Broadway.
The company was previously given the go ahead to install signage on the unit next to the entrance to the cinema, which opened in May.
This application seeks permission for a new shop front and awning and outdoor seating area.
Documents submitted with the application say a 2019 opening is in the pipeline for the high street restaurant.
It says: "The application is acceptable as it will contribute to the vitality and viability of the town centre and will accord with relevant planning policies."
The application adds that the proposed external alterations will bring a vacant unit into use and improve its appearance.
