TODAY'S old picture from the archive of the Worcester News dates back to February 1997, when a new £40,000 extension at Defford Cum Besford CE First School was officially opened. The ceremony was carried out by county councillor Lady Carolyn Harford, assisted by pupils Graham Handley and Gemma Mason.
