A MAN is due to appear in court today charged in connection with an explosion at flats in Poole.
The 67-year-old Poole man is charged with arson with intent/reckless as to whether life was endangered.
The charges arise from an incident in Sterte Road at 1.47pm on Monday October 22.
A property, divided into two flats, was destroyed and two people were injured in a blast.
A man aged 66 was seriously injured and airlifted to hospital. He is now aged 67 and is due to appear before Poole magistrates this morning after being released from hospital.
A woman in her 60s, who was in the ground floor flat at the time, suffered minor injuries.
