A MAN missing since last Friday has been found dead at a medical centre.

Officers were called to Picton Medical Centre, in Heaton Road, Bradford at 2.20pm on Thursday following a report of a deceased male, believed to be Mohammed Fazil, from Bradford.

Officers attended and found the body of a man, who is thought to be in his seventies.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The family of Mr Fazil, who was reported missing from Bradford on January 4, have been informed.

Enquiries are continuing but the death is not believed to be suspicious and a medical body is not said to be looking into the death.

The partners, at Picton Medical Centre, said: “We understand that this has been a difficult time for the Fazil family and friends and would like to express our sympathies to them.

“A police investigation is ongoing and we are assisting them with their enquiries.

“We will also be supporting any staff who have been affected.”

A spokesman for West Yorkshire Police added: "A thorough investigation was carried out by officers and Mr Fazil was found deceased by officers at a medical centre on Heaton Road on January 10.

"A file has now been passed to the Coroner."
