A man says a video of him ‘converting’ to Christianity was fake and he was simply meeting his friends at hospital.

In the video shared extensively on social media a man says he did not convert to Christianity and proceeded to utter the Shahada (The Muslim proclamation of faith).

The man says, “The video that went out yesterday was totally fake. It was crap.

“They were my friends. They took me out. I wasn’t feeling well so they took me to the prayer room. They said we pray for you.

“I am a Muslim Alhamdullilah. I cannot do this to my family.”

In another video a man can be seen being baptised in a bath by two men.

Social media users have stated that the man is named as Wasim and from Wakefield. Whilst the individual conducting the baptism is said to be from Keighley.

In the video a man says, "I am baptising you in the name of the father, son and holy spirit.

"You are going down into the water and you are raising up as the child of god."

He is also asked if he is doing this of his own freel will and he states he is.
