A RADCLIFFE man has been charged with a string of offences after Metrolink passengers were threatened and a PCSO was assaulted in Bury town centre.
John Bernard Holt, aged 30, of Waltham Gardens, has been charged with common assault on an emergency worker, affray, possessing a bladed article and burglary.
He has been remanded in custody and will appear at Manchester Magistrates' Court on December 10.
Police were called at around 10.30am on December 7 to reports that an armed man was making threats on the Radcliffe Metrolink platform.
Further reports came some time after that a PCSO has been assaulted in Bury town centre.
On the previous day police also received reports that a DIY store in Bury Old Road had been burgled.
