Thousands braved the cold to attend an annual Milaad procession to celebrate the Prophet's birthday..
The march began at the Raza Mosque Randal Street in Blackburn and made its way up Shear Brow in the town along London Road and then across Whalley Range.
The event is one of the largest in the North West and held to celebrate the life of the Prophet Muhammad.
The march ended at the Madina Mosque on Oak Street.
Volunteers were on hand to assist with traffic and crowd control.
Along the way attendees were offered tea and sweets from volunteers.
