Traffic on the M62
DRIVERS are being warned to allow extra time for their journeys following a crash on the M62.
It happened on the westbound carriageway between junction 27, Gildersome, and junction 26, Chain Bar.
At one point, three vehicles were blocking two lanes.
Traffic had to be held to allow debris to be cleared, but this has now been done and traffic is being released.
Highways England said delays should now start to ease, but journey times may be around 30 minutes longer than usual.
