A pro-Israeli campaign attempting to hijack the #nowaytotreatachild campaign has been challenged by Twitter users.
As part of World Children’s Day several twitter handles attempted to share the #nowaytotreatachild hashtag with messages stating how Palestinian children were being raised to be terrorists.
The actual #nowaytotreatachild (@nwttac) campaign aims to challenge and end Israel’s prolonged military occupation by working to end detention and abuse of Palestinian children.
Twitter users were quick to point out the hypocrisy.
