Footage, seen by the T&A, uploaded to social media platform Snapchat shows at least 20 heads littered across both locations.

Many people responded in horror and disgust on Facebook, where the footage was re-posted.

Several commented with on the post simply using the "sick" emoji.

One commenter said: "They better not be there in the morning when I walk past."

Another expressed the urgency of cleaning up the mess, describing it as a potential health hazard.

One person responded to say they had contacted the Environment Agency about the issue.

The origin of the chicken heads is currently unknown, but it is believed they have since been cleared up.

"Although it’s good they went to clear it up swiftly, there absolutely shouldn’t be a need to. It’s disgusting."
