Volunteers from Sunni Dawate Islami visited a care home as part of their ongoing Milad Celebrations.
The group made up of young and older members shared gifts with residents at the Dixon House Care Home in Blackburn, which were donated by supporters of the organisation.
Organiser Akeel Khan said, "The real celebration of the Birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammed (PBUH) is to inculcate His teachings in to our lives. The Prophet (PBUH) came with a message of love, peace and kindness for all, and today by visiting Dixon House Care Home it has given us the chance to implement this."
One of the volunteers Chiraguddin Patel said it was a really nice chance to meet and put smiles on the residents faces.
The staff at Dixon House Care home said it was a really nice gesture and talks have taken place between SDI and the care home to work together on different projects throughout the year.
