FIRE crews were called to a petrol station this morning to tackle a blaze in the garage shop.
Crews from Rastrick, Mirfield and two from Dewsbury were called to the fire at the Texaco garage in Bradford Road, Liversedge, at 5.06am.
Reports of smoke in the shop, which is run by the Co-operative, were received by firefighters, and four engines were sent to the scene.
They discovered the fire in the shop, which had engulfed around 20 per cent of the building.
Firefighters used two hose reels and four breathing apparatus kits to tackle the fire and bring it under control.
