THE RadhaRaman folk band, from Leeds, is performing for Bradford Durga Puja festival.
The event takes place at Great Horton Village Hall on Wednesday, October 17, from 8pm.
Organised by united cultural society, Bradford Durga Puja marks the battle of Hindu mythical goddess Durga with Mahishasura, and her emerging victorious.
The RadhaRaman music band will present serene and spiritual renditions of Bengali folk music with a unique and colourful folk dance Dhamail. The performance of the band features Ahmed Kaysher (Vocal) Amalendu Podder (Vocal and harmonium), Ananya Podder (Vocal), Amar Baidya (Vocal support), Erik Schelander (spoken-words, Kishan (Percussion), Papli Dey (Dhamail) Dipali Baidya (Dhamail) etc.
