YOUNG footballers enjoyed a tasty treat when they visited the award winning Whitefield patissiers and chocolatiers, Slattery.
The under 10s squad from Prestwich Marauders, who are sponsored by the sweet treat makers, along with their parents, were invited along for an evening to learn all about chocolate and gain an insight into the yummy work that goes into creating Slattery's incredible delights.
During the visit the children made a variety of chocolate goodies, including choc drops, and Prestwich Marauders choc bars and lollies; and each came away with a goody bag.
The evening was then topped of with a speech by goalkeeper Bobby Yates, and a presentation of a shirt to John and Laura Slattery.
