Police investigating the fatal stabbing of a mother-of-four in her home have charged a man with murder.

Dana Abdullah is due to appear in court on Saturday accused of killing 32-year-old Avan Najmadeen in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire Police said.

Her body was found in her home in Glebedale Road, Fenton, on Monday. A post-mortem examination revealed she died of multiple stab wounds.
