Listening to the song, I appreciate Rishi’s sweet voice and how it matches the style of the song well.

However watching the video, I’m slightly confused. The story is the rinsed out cliché of an artist in a club setting, surrounded by dancing girls.

Now I can understand why they have opted for this theme, after all it IS a club track, but that’s not the problem. I’m wondering why Rishi’s video production team has allowed the saucy dancing by the extras, to steal his thunder. It would’ve been nice to see more of him and his personality.

.

Video aside, the song isn’t bad. Metz & Trix have produced many popular dance tracks in the past so I expect nothing less from them, their audience clearly loves what they do.

The music is up-beat and catchy, however I can’t help but notice some cheeky resemblances to a couple of recent number 1 tracks from the urban charts.

On the production side, Surinder Rattan used to be more associated with Punjabi music/lyrics in his tracks, skills that gave him the respected status he holds now and his transition to dance has been well received.

His decision to team up with Metz & Trix has worked for him.

Bringing it back to the song and Rishi as an artist, I would like to have seen him do something that really showcased his talents as a singer and this song is a little too standard for that.

There are many songs out like this right now so it doesn’t do much to stand out from the competition.

MY Verdict: Catchy song, great dance track but nothing that breaks the rules.
