Fashion and lifestyle blogger Priyanka Gill hosted a special celebration at Aashni & Co boutique in Notting Hill.

Guests partook in a special trunk show, with designs by Nida Mahmood, Pia Pauro, Rohit Bal and conceptual jewellery by Eina Ahluwalla while enjoying cupcakes from Bea's of Bloomsbury.

Priyanka has contributed to international publications such as The Independent and Travel and Leisure and is currently London Correspondent for Tehelka and writes for Hi Blitz! and is a guest blogger for Grazia India.

Meanwhile, as a successful angel investor, Gill is interested in developing niche brands within the lifestyle market, including Bea’s of Bloomsbury, a boutique cake shop, and Fab UK, an online interior décor store, and is continuing to expand her portfolio, most recently with tizaro.com and campanja.com.

Gill is also passionately involved with several charities, including Pratham UK, whose UK Gala she co-chaired in 2010 and 2011, raising £3 million to support children’s literacy in India. She is also a patron of the British Asian Trust and involved with the Savitiri Waney Charitable Trust.

In 2011 Priyanka lent her support to the Hare Ball, in aid of the Great Ormond Street Hospital, co-hosting the private viewing of 200 canvases designed by luminaries including Tracey Emin, Helena Bonham-Carter, Stella McCartney and Cherie Blair.

Other events Priyanka has been involved with include events for luxury brands, such as Missoni, and Tehelka’s The Challenge of India Summit in 2007, followed by its London summit in 2008, India & Pakistan: Designing a New Future.

The latter was held in conjunction with the Art for Freedom charity auction at Bonhams, also organised by Gill. An avid collector of Modern and Contemporary Indian art, her collection includes works by MF Hussain, SH Raza and Tyeb Mehta, and Gill recently co-hosted an exclusive collector’s event at Waddesdon Manor for Christie’s.

Gill has been featured in Vogue (India) and Tatler (UK), among others. For more information.
