ANOTHER night of blistering stand up awaits comedy fans in Colwyn Bay this weekend.

Monthly comedy club Stand-up at the Seaside returns on Saturday featuring another top bill of comic talent.

Hot off the heels of a double bill screening of Monty Python and the Holy grail and Bill Hicks' Revelations - followed by a once in a lifetime chance for a Q&A with Hicks' brother Steve - last week, this month’s line-up welcomes the wonderfully dry delivery of Mike Newall, Abergele’s finest Lorna Pritchard and headline act Dan Nightingale, one of the best acts on the circuit whose Edinburgh fringe show won five star rave reviews.

As well as his reputation as a top-class circuit headliner and in-demand MC and host, he has also performed regular TV warm up for the likes of Jonathan Ross, John Bishop and Celebrity Juice.

Dave Rothnie, stalwart and compere of the comedy club, said: “We’re committed to bringing the very best in stand-up to Colwyn Bay, so people don’t have to travel to Manchester or Liverpool for great comedy.

"We’re delighted to have Dan nightingale this month - It’s a mystery why he’s not famous yet so catch him at the Station while you can! Mixing fiendishly accurate observation with energetic characterisations and killer punch lines, his comedy is original, playful, and always hilarious.

Join Rothnie and co for another does of splendid comedy - as well as the club's joke competition - at the Station on Saturday, November 14 from 8pm.

Tickets are £12.50, to reserve please contact dcrothnie@gmail.com.
