Nash says he excited for his debut single ‘Drop It Down’ featuring R&B star Abel Miller.

Birmingham based singer-songwriter Nash has been performing since the age of 11 and had always dreamt of a career in music.

In 2013, he met the music producer Shayal who saw immense potential in the young Nash and agreed to mentor him.

Shayal has worked with a number of industry movers and shakers across the globe.

In 2007, Shayal toured with multi-platinum US R&B superstar Ginuwine resulting in the collaboration with 'Baby Dil Deewana' reaching No.2 in the Official UK Radio One Charts.

More recently, Shayal produced 'Way Up' featuring the Grammy nominated platinum R&B Singer J Holiday alongside Tyler.

The relationship between Nash and Shayal grew from friendship to business and ultimately led to Nash being signed to Golden Boy Records, an independent label run by Shayal and Tej Randeva.

The result of the signing of Shayal’s young protégé is the debut single ‘Drop It Down’ featuring R&B star Abel Miller.

The track is a reflection of Nash’s musical inspirations, combining the sounds of both east and west and showcasing Nash’s great tone, talent and confidence.

Nash said, I’ve always loved music and that's all I’ve ever really wanted to do since I was a teenager.

"I’m like a sponge, trying to learn from everyone - big or small, young and old. Shayal & the Golden Boy team have given me more confidence to work with an artist like Abel Miller.

"My debut single Drop it Down was a great opportunity to bring two cultures together.”

Drop It Down released on 17 November and is available via iTunes and Amazon.
