Sikh Channel roadshows


A series of special programmes looking ay the Sikh community of the UK is due to begin next week.

Panth Time begins on Saturday 13 February and is filmed within the heart of the Sikh faith in the UK.

Through a weekly topical debate, Sikh Channel will broadcast the positive aspects of the Sikh community. In the first series the producers are visiting eight cities across the UK.

This road-show will include a panel from each area; from the worlds of politics, academia and religion, who will respond to questions posed by members of the public.

With a diverse panel, Panth Time will avoid contentious, controversial issues and focus on news important to each area, underlining the optimistic facts before outlining negativities.

Panth Time is taking the Sikh Channel to the core to Panth Time will be broadcast to a worldwide audience and will be visiting Glasgow, Leeds, Leicester, Birmingham, Wolverhampton, Slough, Southall and Gravesend.

The show will be filmed in local temples and producers will be urging Sikhs who attend temple services, local universities, schools and local businesses to be part of the audience.
