Ibrahim Shah will be looking to become Audley Boxing Club's first ever national champion when he fights for the Golden Gloves title next month.
The 13-year-old will represent the North against the southern champion in Nottingley on the weekend of March 8-9.
The talented fighter booked his place in the final after beating Kas Mahmood from Midlands club Capital ABC for the Northern Counties title. He had already been crowned North West Counties champion after another convincing points victory over Aston Fairhurst of Aycliffe ABC.
"This is a tremendous achievement for Ibrahim," said Yacoob Hussain, coach and founder of Audley ABC.
" He has boxed superbly and the way he beat two very good fighters in the semi finals and quarter finals was impressive."
