A young golfer is aiming for the top after a string of regional tournament victories.
Twelve-year-old Haris Ali is a junior member of the Accrington Golf Club and entered four competitions last year.
He came away with the honours in three of them and finished runner-up in the other.
This was all the more remarkable in that he only took up the sport about a year ago.
Father Purves told us, "He has been picking up the wins on a regular basis and he has accommodated to the sport pretty well."
Harris won the July medal and Accrington Golf Clubs Captains red tees winner. He also won the Baxenden junior Open and came runner up in the Grieg Ainsworth junior senior with his partner Ryan Ainsworth.
