Holders Canaries will meet 2007 champions Asia in the first round of this year’s North West championships.

The official draw was made at the Shahi Qila Restaurant in Blackburn where eight clubs from across the North West had gathered.

The tournament is played at the Blackburn Rovers Youth Academy in Brockhall and this year will celebrate it’s tenth year.

Other ties on the day will see Blackburn united pitted against new boys Wardleworth FC.

Last year’s finalists Coppice United will face Paak United and Bolton United will play Bank Top Rovers. Fishwick Rangers are not included this year due to league priorities.

Clubs are permitted to choose from a squad of 22 players over the weekend.
