Halifax Hammers put the pain of losing a cup final a day earlier behind them as they booked their place in the final four of the AMT Lawyers 2016 North West Football championships.
Despite Asia having the better of the early exchanges Halifax went in at half-time 2-0 ahead. A day earlier Halifax had let a 3 goal lead slip in their league cup final.
This time there were no mistakes at the game played at Victoria Park, the home of Nelson FC. Asia managed to get one back before a wonder free-kick from 30 yards put the tie to bed.
