Andy Singh who is organising the event told us, “We wanted to provide a platform for Asian lads to showcase their abilities at the highest levels.

“There is so much talent and skill within the community we thought a high-profile tournament like this would help to lift aspirations.

“There will be scouts at the venue watching the games on the day.

“The winning team will receive a cash prize of £2,500 and the honour of lifitng the first Asian Kings trophy.

“The runners-up will receive a cash prize of £1000.

“I would urge all clubs to get in contact as soon as possible as we are expecting a big demand from teams in the region.”

Each squad will consist of ten players of which seven must be of Asian origin.

“We wanted to make it as inclusive as possible. Whilst we want to showcase the talents of the Asian community we realise that many clubs are made-up of many different people from different backgrounds.” Added Andy.
