British rower Mohamed Sbihi will not fast during Ramadhan

British rower Mohamed Sbihi, recently revealed he will not be fasting during the month of Ramadhan despite stating he believes his performance will not be affected if he did fast.
Sbihi said, “I am convinced that I can perform well if I fast, but I don’t want my teammates to have any doubts about that. It would have a negative impact on our performance.”
Therefore in order to compensate for his decision, Sbihi has decided to provide food for 60 poor Moroccans who are unable to fast during the holy month.
