A football tournament helped raise funds in aid of street children in Bangladesh.
Sona FC took away the honours at the seniors tournament held at Fearns Community Sports College in Stacksteads. It raised £2,390 for the New Baitul Mukhram Masjid in Haslingden.
Organiser Moheen Uddin said, "I would like to thank all the volunteers, teams and bbq crew who helped provide another successful tournament. Alhamdulila £2390 was raised for the New Baitul Mukhram Masjid in Haslingden.
"Special thanks to Commercial Utility for sponsoring the tournament and all the businesses that provided the food and drink for the BBQ."
Winners: FC Sona 3-0 Elite FC; Player of tournament - Uzman Zubair (Argentinos); Top goal Scorer Adnan Zubair (Argentinos) ; Goalkeeper of the tournament; Mazarul Islam(Elite CC); Man of the match in final Zeddy (Sona FC).
