The Abu Hanifah Foundation Football Club have been honoured with the Lancashire Charter Standard Club Award 2017.

The award came at a time when the club also unveiled their new home pitches at Woolridge playing fields, opposite Pleckgate High School, Blackburn.

The new state-of-art pitches and changing rooms have been completely renovated and will now host all home AHF FC home matches.

Club Secretary Yasir Sufi said “Being awarded Lancashire Charter Standard Club of the Year 2017 is a fantastic achievement for everyone involved with the club. Our success is down to the kids, parents, coaches and volunteers who work very hard to instil good values within all levels of the club.

“We are however always looking to improve our services and hope to grow our services for girls and also develop our disability provisions. If anyone wishes to join the club then they can visit us at ahffc.org”
