All Stars were picked-up the Seths Bathrooms Blackburn & District Amateur Cricket League 2015 title at this year’s awards.

They pipped double cup winning side Blackburn Eagles to the race with the season ending in controversial fashion. Take nothing away from the All Stars though, who followed their cup victories in recent years to land the ultimate prize.

KQF Bharuch overcame Blackburn CC to the B Division crown and the side also picked-up the best batter and best bowler awards.

Ian Pinder who first playing in the league back in 1969 was honoured with the chairman’s award. He has also volunteered with the league in various role over the past forty years.

The league celebrated it’s 120th anniversary this year.

Chairman Zahur Waghat, who hosted the evening and was presented with the Services and Merit Award said, “The standard of cricket played was very high in the 2015 season, with many outstanding team and individual performances.

“Tonight was about recognising and rewarding those performances. Well done to all our winners - I look forward to similar impressive performances next year. I would like to thank all the teams, players and officials, for making this another very successful season, also our sponsors, Sheths Bathrooms and Star Tissue Uk Ltd, for their continued support.”
